A cell phone with a good camera.

This device is my favorite within the new technologies and better if you have a connection to the internet, especially with a good camera and with access to applications that improve their functions. I always look for Smartphone Nokia, through the lens of the camera and because they are resistant to the falls, I was never have broken despite having suffered heavy blows by accidents.

I like that the phone has GPS and the application WAZE, which I had been very useful and accurate at the time of driving in places where I am for the first time.

The camera also use it as visual notes when photograph slates and presentations, or if I find something visually entertaining,If I want to save in a photo a unique and unrepeatable event for me, also has served as a testimony of car accidents. This camera device is very versatile for the accelerated times in which we live because these images can be shared immediately by the network.

Why the photography?

Hi. today I would like to tell you why I'm studying visual arts, specically Photography.

Well, I've always liked to see the family album, including photos of my parents when they were young,

and I was wondering: how those photos were made?

I learned how to use an analog camera. I studied photography concepts that I allowed me to learn how to use light.

My first steps in the dark room were with the black and white photography developing process, using a photo enlanger and developing chemicals. That's where all the magic was. It was very exciting, I saw my first photo in black and white of 30 x 40, made by me.

Nowadays, photography has another sense, because, now, I have to find answers through the image and make other people feel new experiences of perception.

     

   Nowadays Santiago is full of high buildings, the Basilica of the Sacramentinos does not stand out already in the urban scenery ( I took this photo from a 6th floor in Bulnes Avenue and developed it in my darkroom).

I´m  Rosa

I was born in Santiago, Chile, on December 7 ,1965. I have parents and a great family, I love their very much. I live with my husband Vladimir and my sons Edison and Santiago, they are not kids any more, they are 20 and 19 years old and they are studying, one of them is in engineering and the other is in musical production. Now they help me for than so I can study and work, it was always on my mind to get from to the University of Chile.

After a brief while in graphic design, I had to learn health to be a paramedic. I worked in the clinical hospital of the University of Chile and, meanwhile, I studied food microbiology at the Inacap Institute, later I learned photography as an amateur at the Fotocineclub in Chile, and among its members I met excellent photographers, including Bob Borowicz. Gertrudis de Moses and also the work of Lincoyan Parada.

I´m working in Maipú,10 minutes away of my home, my working hours are 22 to the week, the rest is of student and mom or one more of the house, because we are one team in my home.

Being an art student is not easy but it is entertaining to go from the idea to the concrete with different materials, especially with photographs and videos.

I like walking and listening music of other countries in spotify I watch brazillean soap opera, I like eat cool fruit too, I buy books,I like cinema more with real stories than horror movies. To enjoy quiet and solitude, as in the dark room or on a bicycle or when I am swimming in the pool.
